Stop Motion: Animating the Real, One Frame at a Time

The Stop Motion Summer Camp is a two-weekend, 24-hour creative experience where students learn to plan, shoot, and edit their animated short films using real-world materials. Through hands-on instruction, students design characters, build miniature sets, and bring their stories to life frame by frame. The camp introduces professional stop motion techniques using tools like Stop Motion Studio Pro. Students explore storyboarding, lighting, sound design, and editing fundamentals along the way. By the end of the week, each participant will present a finished short film in a group showcase.

4 sessions total, held over two weekends —
Saturday & Sunday, July 5–6 and July 12–13.
